COMPANY BACKGROUND
BQE Engineering was formed on the 26th July 1994 under the Malaysian Company Act 1965. The company main activity is providing engineering services in the field of Testing & Commissioning of Power Station and Substation protection and control equipment.

Since its inception, the company has successfully provided services to Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), Independent Power Producers (IPPs) and Large Power Consumers.

The company is registered as an electrical service contractor by the Department of Electricity and Gas Supply Malaysia under the Electricity Supply Act 1990. The company is authorized and competent to provide services on electrical installations with operating voltage of up to 500kV
COMPANY BUSINESS
BQE Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is a company that provides engineering services in the Electrical Supply Industry of Malaysia. The company has the license issued by Malaysia Energy Commision to undertake the following services:-

Testing and commissioning of protection relays and other associated relays in power stations and substations belonging to Power Producers and Large Power Consumers.

Proofing and commissioning secondary circuits namely protection circuits and control circuits in power stations and substations as well as power cables and power transformers.
​
Design of protection and control schemes for power station and substation electrical equipment.
​
Installation and maintenance of electrical equipment in power stations, substations, factories, mills etc.
​
Integration of other secondary equipment such as fault / disturbance recorders, SCADA equipment and substation control system (SCS).
